Photovoltaic trolleys and trailers

The Elmetec PVMS (Photovoltaic Mobile System) photovoltaic trailer is a renewable and free, but above all transportable, source of energy.

PVMS can be combined with Elmetec PVPI inverters, thus transforming itself into a mobile photovoltaic system for irrigation, capable of exploiting sunlight directly on site to power one or more electric pumps according to needs.

Alternatively, an energy storage bank composed of latest generation batteries can be installed on board the PVMS trailer, which allows the power collected during solar exposure to be exploited and used when and where there is a need.

Specifically designed as an agricultural trailer equipped with a sturdy steel structure to be used even in the most difficult operating conditions, it can also be approved for road use on request.

It is available in the PVMS-12 versions, equipped with 12 photovoltaic modules, or in the PVMS-20 version, equipped with 20 modules. The overall peak powers may vary based on the power of the photovoltaic panels installed and based on the needs of the end user.

During movement, the structure that houses the panels remains closed, reducing overall dimensions to a minimum; once the operating site has been reached, however, after having extended the stabilizers on the ground in order to guarantee maximum stability and resistance to the action of the wind, the two side sails that house the photovoltaic panels are quickly opened by activating the manual hydraulic pump and positioned at the most appropriate inclination.

Ground anchoring systems

Elmetec has designed and created VITEC, a specific line of self-tapping screws for anchoring to the ground. Usable for multiple applications, VITEC is available in different sizes in both hot-dip galvanized steel and Aisi 304 stainless steel.

Easy to screw with the help of a specific manual wrench or through the use of special machinery, these screws offer multiple advantages:

  • speed of application
  • environmental compatibility by avoiding the use of cement
  • ease of removal and therefore restoration of the areas
  • possibility of reuse
  • possibility of leveling without earth moving works
  • easy transportability
  • lack of visual impact

The machinery for placing the screws in the ground is operated by the operator using a radio control, which allows this operation to be carried out not only quickly and precisely, but also in complete safety.

Photovoltaic pumping systems

Elmetec designs, creates and installs innovative photovoltaic energy pumping systems, managing to satisfy any irrigation need. The advantage lies in the lower noise (compared to a traditional generator) and the savings it guarantees.

Our PVPS (PhotoVoltaic Pumping System) systems are sized according to specific irrigation needs; the initial consultancy serves to evaluate them and therefore to define the most appropriate and convenient system.

Our company deals internally with all phases of the process, from the choice of photovoltaic modules and the selection of the specific PVPI inverter to be used, up to the identification of the most suitable pump and control devices: this allows us to provide products that guarantee high efficiency, reliability and performance.

PVPS systems are also extremely versatile and flexible because they can be easily reconfigured and reused if usage needs change. .

The system allows significant energy savings in places where there is no connection to the electricity distribution network, or where you simply want to save money.

The PVPI inverters used in our pumping systems can be used with any type of electric pump equipped with both a single-phase and three-phase asynchronous motor, with the great advantage of not having to purchase special direct current or permanent magnet electric pumps to be connected to the photovoltaic generator.

Our inverters can, if necessary, be connected to submersible or peripheral electric pumps, for example to power a water system for storing water in overhead tanks, or for watering livestock or to directly power a drip irrigation system.
